About US The Creative Alliance

A collective of artists, researchers, curators, and cultural producers working at the intersection of art, space, and social imagination. Rooted in a shared commitment to collaboration, experimentation, and community-building, we develop context-driven cultural experiences that engage with histories, publics, and place-making across the African continent and its diasporas.

Brought together through the Lantern Art Space Fellowship, The Creative Alliance has evolved into a working group focused on reimagining underused civic sites and heritage spaces as generative grounds for cultural expression. Our work includes the development of the TALE Festival, an experimental platform for artistic and curatorial intervention anchored at the former Ministry of Justice Building in Lagos.

As a group, we are committed to creating meaningful encounters through research-based storytelling, multidisciplinary showcases, and collective practices that challenge dominant narratives and explore new possibilities for cultural infrastructure.
