Seju Alero Mike is a curator and creative consultant working at the intersection of art, heritage, and storytelling. Her practice engages themes of migration, identity, and spiritual inquiry; connecting artists, archives, and communities across Africa and its diaspora while leveraging technology to expand cultural memory.
She has led exhibitions across varied cultural contexts, with recent projects including the adidas Lekki Flagship Store, where she curated an immersive environment weaving the spirit of Lagos into the retail space through locally rooted art and design; Beyond the Seen, a digital showcase for the Harvard Divinity School’s Evolution of Spirituality Conference; and Echoes of the Nile, a solo exhibition with artist Data Oruwari at the Southside Contemporary Art Gallery in Richmond, Virginia.
Seju is the Founder and Artistic Director of OSENGWA, a creative enterprise that supports artists and cultural practitioners pushing boundaries in form, narrative, and digital culture. Her work – whether in physical or virtual space – is grounded in intentionality, rooted in heritage, and a commitment to expanding how we see and engage with the world.
Babatunde ‘TRIBE’ Akande, is a nonbinary multidisciplinary artist and Creative Expressionist known for their proficiency in visual arts, sculpting, augmented reality (AR), performance, sound and photography in Lagos, Nigeria, currently resides in Lagos. Hailing from Oyo, Nigeria, They use these mediums to craft multisensory immersive experiences with the intention to evoke emotions and questioning.
Exploring the intersections of social injustice, community and identity, gender equality, environmental sustainability, and human connectivity is a hallmark of their diverse artistic practice. Babatunde Tribe’s journey has transformed into a powerful platform for advocacy and social change. Their work is characterized by a thought-provoking blend of personal narrative, social commentary, and a dedication to exploring themes of intersectionality and minority rights.
Notable exhibitions featuring Babatunde’s work include “Lit Fest” at Didi Museum in Lagos, Nigeria, the “Nature + Nurture” Virtual Group Exhibition in Atlanta, GA, “Good Times” Group Exhibition at TheGalleryATX in Austin, TX, USA, and “Fluid” by Kenga Digital and Arrai.Atlas in Nairobi, Kenya. Babatunde’s art has also been showcased at the International Art Contest for Minority Artists Exhibition at OHCHR, United Nations, Geneva, Switzerland,
where they were awarded as the winner for the International Minority Art Contest, 2023. Their work has been collected by the Ambassador of the USA in Nigeria. Akande has participated in various international events such as the “Escape In/Out” by Follow Art art fair in Milan, Italy (2023), presentations at the Center for Arts of the International School of Geneva, and workshops on Minority Rights, Arts, and Advocacy facilitated by Minority Rights Group International and OHCHR.
Boluwatife Caleb Ayodele is a Nigerian contemporary artist with specialty in painting, textile and ceramics. An Art ambassador of Goge Africa, Member of the society of Nigerian Artists (SNA), Vision in Clay Artists Network (VICAN), A graduate of Fine and Applied Arts from University of Benin, Benin City. Caleb, is also an Art Educator with several academic and social awards to his credits.
He has participated in several art conferences and served as a facilitator in several art workshops for children, Some of which are: Iconic 87 Art Workshop in honour of the legendary Bruce Onobrakpeya, Annual Children Art Fair at Coker Primary School, Arts and Craft Workshop in Federal College of Education,Akoka, Sculpting workshop with Prune Noury at the department of fine and applied Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ilẹ Ìfẹ, among others.
He has curated and participated in group exhibitions of paintings, drawings, ceramics, sculpture, textiles graphics and photography. To his credit, is the execution of the longest mural painting in Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka, Yaba,Lagos.
He is the founder of BlessedChoice Arts, an art organization that deals with children and adult art education and art consultancy. The organization has since her existence organized art workshops for both children and adult, organized art contest for children and served as a link between artist and those that seek the service of artists.
An artist and art administrator, Yacoub’s experience in research, strategy, and community engagement will ensure the project fosters meaningful connections with the local community and stakeholders.
Lawrence Meju is a Lagos-based visual artist and designer whose practice explores the
intersection of structure and spontaneity. With a background in architecture, he brings
spatial precision to works shaped by raw, expressive experimentation. His art draws
from the rhythms of urban life, memory, and the fluidity of human connection to create
layered visual narratives.
Meju’s passion for art has evolved into a profound commitment to authenticity and
exploration of creative ideas and styles. His interest in sustainability and transformation
informs a tactile, process-driven approach to art-making.
His work has been exhibited internationally, including at Adidas’ flagship store in
London, Affinity Gallery Lagos’ Desire Lines, and the +234 Art Fair. In 2023, he was
runner-up for the Visible Artist Award at the House of St. Barnabas in London. His debut
solo exhibition, Fragments: A Symphony of Shapes, opened in 2024 at Alliance
Française de Lagos. His work is part of the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art’s permanent
collection.
Nosazemen Agbontaen is a filmmaker + urban planning enthusiast. She has a BA in Sociology and certificate in Urban Development. Her work has shown at S16 Film Festival, AiM Scotland, and Kurzfilmtage Switzerland

Oluwatobi Aderemi is a Lagos-born researcher and project manager with roots in Oyo State. His academic background in History from the University of Ibadan has fueled his passion for exploring political, colonial, and environmental themes, with a recent focus on the intersection of art history and research.
Currently, Oluwatobi contributes his operational and strategic expertise to “A Billion Laughs,” where he plays a key role in producing thought-provoking comedy shows that delve into topics such as religion, internet fraud, and the Nigerian dream. His diverse career path has also included experiences in the music industry and production work.
Oluwatobi’s enthusiasm lies in the realms of history and human sociology. He envisions a future where he can create immersive experiences that seamlessly blend these disciplines. Additionally, he aspires to produce comedy specials for emerging talents who he believes represent the future of Nigerian comedy. He is also committed to producing high-quality research papers.
